Hello, everyone! I’m Jocelyn Gayosso, and I’m currently 28 years old. My journey began in sunny Miami, Florida, and at the tender age of 2, I relocated to Houston, where I’ve spent the majority of my life, particularly in Southeast Houston, now known as EADO. My background is I am from Virginia.I was so lucky as a child that my parents took me to museums, plays, and concerts. Can you picture a world without color, melodies, or stories that whisk us away to magical realms? Such a world would be a bland canvas devoid of the vibrancy that makes life interesting. My parents, the architects of my experience, gave me a precious legacy – the gift of the arts. I grew up in Calistoga, a tiny town in the heart of the Napa Valley. We lived in a small house with a big garden in the backyard. I remember sitting on an overturned bucket, watching my father harvest corn, peas and squash. Growing up with fond memories of gardening definitely shaped who I am today.
