We had the good fortune of connecting with Adrian Rojas and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Adrian, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
It’s pretty simple really. I knew I could do the job better than the previous company I was with. Once I cleared away some of the fear of the unknown, it became a pretty easy decision. To achieve the flexibility of time and financial independence I was looking for, starting my own business was the clear choice.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
At In Home Floors, we specialize in offering our clients a more convenient, and budget friendly solution to remodeling their home.
On the convenience side, we have a mobile showroom that will bring all the samples for flooring, cabinets, countertops, and painting, to your house so you can shop from the comfort of your home instead of going to a showroom and running into a high pressure salesman.
On the budget friendly, not only do we have direct accounts with the manufacturers (to alleviate middlemen like the big box stores or most General Contractors), we also have a range of financing options to help fit any budget the client is comfortable with. It’s quite common to remodel an entire house for $600 a month.
I have an immense pride in my company and what we do for the community. More than 80% of our clients, finance, and tell us that they never would have imagined they could afford to remodel their house. We are bringing a service that most think is only for the wealthy, and making it available to everyone.
It wasn’t easy to get started. We have and are still facing adversity in our industry. The previous company I worked for has gone out-of their way to shut us down on multiple fronts and keep our concept from coming to light out of fear of our success and the change we symbolize in our industry. Even so, with the help of my partners Christian Benjamin, and Samuel Mancill, we are adapting and overcoming any obstacle being thrown at us.
The world should know that the In Home Floors brand stands for innovation, dependability, convenience, affordability, quality, and customer service.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh man, there are so many good spots in the Conroe and north Houston area it’s hard to pick just a few. For food I’d have to go with woodsons, tonys italian delicatessen, dragonbowl c, coops chicken, burger fresh, or pacific yard house. Entertainment would be sawyer park, rowdys, cielo, finding where peyton howie was playing, and two tones dueling piano bar. Hangout spots would be blend cigar bar, the blind finch, exit 73, ale n ivy, or flying pug.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are so many people that deserve shoutouts for contributing to my success. My parents and close family, friends that believe in me, teachers in my industry that helped me elevate my skillset, but the person that really pushed me into starting my business is Joe Lavigne
