Hi Sophia, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
In the early days of my lash business, achieving work-life balance felt like a distant dream. I was so passionate and eager for success that I found myself working what felt like day and night. Initially, every waking moment was consumed with perfecting techniques, building clientele, and handling the administrative side of things.

Over time, I realized that this approach wasn’t sustainable. My health and personal life began to blur and suffer. So, I took a step back to reassess my priorities and boundaries. I began by scheduling specific work hours and committing to them. It was essential to carve out personal time to recharge and spend with loved ones.

Now, I see work-life balance as an evolving process rather than a fixed state. It requires constant reflection and adjustment. I aim to be conscious in allotting time for self-care, hobbies, and connecting with friends and family, understanding that these aspects enrich my work life too.

Balancing work and personal life has ultimately made me more efficient and creative in my business. It’s a mindset now — understanding that to best serve my clients, I need to first take care of myself.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

What Sets You Apart:
My lash business isn’t just about enhancing beauty; it’s about giving individuals a sense of confidence. I prioritize every client receives the best possible experience.

Pride and Excitement:
I am most proud of my loyal community of clients who have become like family. I owe it all to their trust and satisfaction. It’s exciting to see each client leave not just with beautiful lashes but also with a boost in confidence.

The Journey:
Building this business from the ground up was not easy. There were countless late nights, experimentation with products, and overcoming all doubts.

Overcoming Challenges:
Challenges ranged from finding the right suppliers and products to building a brand in a competitive market. Persistence, continuous learning, and listening to client feedback is the key for me to keep evolving and improving my business.

Lessons Learned:
Listen to your clients—they are your greatest asset. Their feedback is gold.

Quality Over Quantity:
Prioritizing the quality of products and services builds long-term trust and loyalty.

Adaptability:
Always Stay open to trends and new techniques to keep the service fresh and exciting.

My brand is about more than just lashes. It’s about creating a welcoming space where beauty and confidence can come together.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live in The Woodlands area for about 10 years now.

I would take them to brunch @ Fielding’s Wood Fire then head over to Market Street for shopping.
Grab Coffee at First Cup

Night time go to have dinner @ Bloofin Sushi & then to Rose Rooftop for drinks and a little dancing on the waterway

I am incredibly grateful for the unwavering support and encouragement from my family and my clients on this journey. Firstly, my family.
