Meet Jasmeen Aimer Silvia Ortiz | Founders of Her Impact Summit

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmeen Aimer Silvia Ortiz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jasmeen Aimer, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The idea for Her Impact Summit was born from our own entrepreneurial journeys and our deep passion for bringing women together to uplift and inspire one another. As we navigated the challenges of starting our businesses, we experienced firsthand the struggles of building a brand, making meaningful connections, and finding the right resources.
When I, Jasmeen, launched J. Aimer, I faced these hurdles largely on my own—learning through trial and error in business, branding, and networking. I, Silvia, quickly realized that cultivating a strong network and surrounding yourself with the right people is essential. The right connections open doors, provide guidance, and create opportunities that align with your vision, ultimately shaping the path to success.
We want to show how powerful community and shared knowledge can be in helping women grow personally and professionally.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets Her Impact Summit apart is our mission to create a space where women can connect, learn, and grow together. We don’t just host events—we build experiences that inspire, empower, and foster real connections. From engaging panel discussions to hands-on activities, we curate every detail with the goal of helping women step into their power and elevate both their personal and professional lives.
We are most proud of the incredible community we’ve built. Seeing women leave our events feeling more confident, motivated, and supported is what drives us. It’s not just about networking; it’s about building meaningful relationships and opportunities for growth.
Getting here wasn’t easy. Like any venture, we faced challenges—whether it was organizing large-scale events, securing the right partnerships, or ensuring that each summit brought real value to attendees. But we overcame those obstacles through persistence, collaboration, and a deep belief in our purpose.
One of the biggest lessons we’ve learned is the power of community. Women thrive when they have a support system, and that’s exactly what Her Impact Summit is all about. We want the world to know that this is more than an event—it’s a movement. It’s a space where women from all backgrounds can come together, share knowledge, and uplift one another.
And this is just the beginning. We are excited to continue expanding, bringing more voices to the table, and making an even greater impact. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see how many more lives we can touch.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Our favorite spot in the city would be BBQ 713 food truck, Roberto the owner is well known for creating some of the best smoked brisket and ribs in town! His secret blend of spices and slow-cooked techniques make BBQ 713 a must-visit for locals and tourists alike. Plus, the way he serves up his plates—with generous portions and a welcoming smile—makes the experience even better.
And of course Space City Birria ATM.
They’re known for their cheesy, juicy birria tacos, consommé, and loaded birria ramen. Perfect for a late-night craving or a weekend indulgence.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would like to give recognition to the amazing community of women entrepreneurs and creatives we’ve met along the way—whether through pop-ups, collaborations, or networking events. Women supporting women is something we deeply believe in, and we’ve been fortunate to be surrounded by inspiring, driven individuals who have helped me grow personally and professionally.
