We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordan Iris and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jordan, why did you pursue a creative career?
I decided to pursue content creation because I have always had a knack for social media. Plus, I love being out, trying new things, going to new places, and overall being social and meeting new people.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a former blogger turned lifestyle content creator, and with my brand, I want to bring a fresh perspective to the city of Houston. With it most recently known for its bustling nightlife, I want to show my community, visitors, and natives that there is so much to do in this amazing city! That is by showcasing wonderful places to eat, new and exciting locations, and overall FUN EXPERIENCES they can add to their list to check out.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my bestie were visiting, we’d have to stop at Lost & Found to get their AMAZING Cajun pasta.

Then we’d have to go somewhere fun like Ador’e or Bar Hop downtown on Main.

For a chill activity, I would 100% recommend Fete 832 to create a take-home memento to remember her trip and

Finally, we’d end the weekend with a SUNDAY FUNDAY turn-up at Chapman and Kirby, Daiq’s, or Gotti’s!

I would love to dedicate this shoutout to my friends, family, and friends in the content-creating space!

They have really pushed me to step out of my comfort zone in certain ways and are incredibly supportive! I am truly grateful for my circle, and it helps a lot to know you have authentic people in your corner who just want to see you win. We are so encouraging of one another’s journey in this space, and look forward to our success!
