We had the good fortune of connecting with Laquona Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Laquona, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
How to know to keep going or to give up? If you ever THINK to stop, you’ll regret the missed opportunities for open doors, blessing others through serving and so much more. To Give up…… that should not be an option. Keep going!

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
For me one thing that sets me apart from others is when I take a picture for any event or session, I try to place myself in that moment. I believe that is the only way to capture a sincere moment. At the end of the day I believe that when I am using my gift of photography, I always want it to be for the glory of God after all he is the one who gave me this gift. What excites me is when the purpose of the photo is fulfilled, I’ve seen most of my clients use their photos either for publishing, their brand, and recognition. Seeing that makes my heart smile! Was it easy? No, not by a long shot! Even though the dust has cleared a tad and every once in a while you’ll see tumbleweeds roll by you still have to keep going! What are the lessons I’ve learned along the way? I’ve learned lessons but two lessons I’ve learned for sure: Lesson #1. You’re not for everyone and it’s okay. #2. Nothing is wrong with helping others progress along the way. I want the world to know that Caught impressions by Q is looking forward to capturing as many as they possibly can and that every session will be an experience of peace, joy, love and fun! Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Sad to say I haven’t been to many places in Houston! My Best friend and I would have a blast trying to figure out where to go!
