We had the good fortune of connecting with Marco DeVinci and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marco, what inspires you?
I am inspired by My family and the people around me, my culture and life itself

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What set me apart from others is I have the ability to switch styles and i make great music with anybody i make music with. Im more excited about working with different people and different genres. I got to where i am now by never giving up and keeping it pushing. And no it was not easy but i stayed focused and kept believing. I’ve learned to trust my instincts more and to make things happen. I want the world to know that you going to be seeing a lot of me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First i would take them to explore my city. Places where i grew up, areas i use to stay in and show them the club/party scenes. Far as food, probably go to Sugar & Spice out Hyattsville for some bomb soul food. Im not the type to go out for drinks, so I’ll probably buy a bottle of Tequila and hit the studio and just vibe and make music. Some interesting places, people, and things to check out while you out here will be the botanical gardens in Washington, DC, i would advise that visits to check out a go-go function, listen to some TCB or New Impressions, and maybe if you really interested go view the White House
