We had the good fortune of connecting with Adesijibomi Owoseni and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adesijibomi, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I am a big risk taker, I am never scared till I’ve done it, even when I have done it, I probably won’t be scared. Over the years, taking risk has helped me seen things in a different way, learn new things and make sure I don’t make the same mistakes again. Risk taking has played a major role in my life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Professionally, I work in the healthcare sector, I am proud of every failure that I have encountered in this field so far, it has given me an opportunity to learn from my mistakes and take on any challenge that may come up in the near future. It wasn’t an easy journey to get to where I am today, I always have an open mind, constant self reassurance. I have learned a lot of things along the way, but one of the few that keeps ringing in my head is; to never quit, even when all hope is lost, the least I owe myself is to keep going till I reach a point of success. My brand is a gift that keeps on giving, I cannot count how many times I have at a point where I felt like I wasn’t fulfilling my purpose, times when I doubted in my craft, one thing about me is; wherever I go/find myself, I would always leave an impact. I want to be able to inspire people to live their best lives, be happy and clear all doubts.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am at this point in my life where all I want to do is glow and eat, so if my best friend was visiting the area we are probably going to eat all week long, throw in a little bit of retail therapy, self care and reconnecting with nature. We’d explore EaDo eating our way through the week in restaurants such as Truck yard, The Rustic, Around the Corner, and Nancy’s Hustle.

Couple cocktails and shots in bars like White Rhino, Night Shift, Fitzcarraldo, and East End Hardware.

Head over to River Oaks and Galleria to shop , you know nothing too serious, a few pieces here and there.

We’d go hiking at the Memorial Hike park and bike trail.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to mention The Lizzy .O., I cannot tell my story “influencer” story without her, my mother, Oyin Oguntuase for her immense support towards my career. Lastly, all the creatives I have met on this content creation and influencer journey so far.
