We had the good fortune of connecting with Aditi Koranne and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aditi, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When my daughter was born I wanted to create something that is going to be cherished forever. I noticed a demand of handmade items that are one of a kind for our precious little ones. I started posting pictures of my work on different social platforms and slowly my followers started to grow. Also, I started going to vendor markets and beginning to receive orders This is where my business started reallysocute….

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My products are handmade with one a kind color schemes. I am proud of creating my own brand that is modern and exquisite. It is never easy to do handmade business as people have many options to purchase from big brand stores at a click of button. Biggest challenge was to learn and explore different social platforms to make my product stand out. I managed everything on my own. I learned and managed creating, listing, and socializing my posts to the social platforms. I love being creative, and I think as long as you are doing something you have passion for, you will find happiness and success.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would love to take them to johnson space center and keemah boardwalk. Also,rice village area is a wonderful place with lot of amazing restaurants and shopping options.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family who is always there to support me and gives me the time to work on my projects. There are times I have to balance family and work. And balancing a business with work is not easy. There were times where I would stay up late after work to catch up on orders. The excitement of flourishing business take time and effort to manage. . I am glad that my husband helped me through the entire process.
