We had the good fortune of connecting with Adrian J and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Adrian, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
“Life is what you make of it. Don’t make excuses, make it happen.” -Chamillionaire
There are so many things in life that can bring you down, break your confidence, or simply distract you from what you’re trying to achieve. Some of these things, we have no control of, but what we can control is how we, as individuals, react and respond to these things; how and in what ways do we let it affect us. We have the power to make life what we want it to be. That’s the mindset I keep, just trying to make it happen.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
A michelada is a mexican cocktail consisting of beer, with a blend of lime juice, tomato juice, and assorted spices. There are many variations and everyone has there own recipe. I’m just trying to share mine with the world. I strive for a high quality, rich, flavorful product that makes people smile. I love seeing people try it for the first time and their reactions just re-energize me to keep doing this.
I started in 2020 as a project/hobby to stay busy during the pandemic, and it has been steadily growing since. Its been loads of fun even along with the challenges that come along like hot Houston days, long nights, and now rising costs and lack of products. Quality and consistency is crucial to me, so I’m determined to keep the quality that my customers enjoy, even if it means more work for me. Do you know how hard it is sometimes to find fresh squeezed lime juice? lol.
Along the way, I’ve learned that people really enjoy a good quality product. I love engaging with my customers and telling them my story and hearing theirs as well. Hearing customers tell me they enjoy my products and seeing them repeatedly, becoming friends with them, is such an amazing feeling that I’m so grateful for.I just want everyone to know that I really appreciate all the love, feedback, criticism, and support they everyone offers. Stay tuned to the IG page, I’m always trying to think of fun, creative, and tasty ways to make ya’ll smile and enjoy these tasty liquid snax.
