Hi Alesha, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I’m passionate about everything I do! So there’s no limits to the risks I’ll take to continue to make things happen. Being a risk taker gives me the reassurance that I’m betting it all on myself & my vision. My motto is do it blind, scared, orb broke,

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Alist is an all around personal & professional development non profit. We specialize in image consulting from head (mindset) to toe!

As a retired cosmetologist I felt it was important to give back in a way that would make women feel empowered in many ways.

And what better way would I do that other than to create a Non Profit organization that provides these services for free.

What sets us apart is the all around coaching services. We don’t stop at the exterior the mind is our focal point. Although image is important for anyone seeking a professional role.

Alist Cares supports the community by creating professionally developed women that are eager to land a high paying career in hopes of financial stability for themselves & their family’s.

I got to this point I am you by staying focused on the goal at hand. Which was to be a vessel. In order to create something outside of yourself you must be a VISIONARY!

If you can see the results you’ve fought half the battle. There were times I didn’t understand the shortcomings or downsides to running a business, but it’s all worth it.

Nothing worth having is easy.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My friends and I enjoy balanced vacations, a little turn up mixed with relaxation. I’d start with a lunch/cocktail at laid back lounge hence her coming in from traveling. We’d then go shopping and buy things neither one of us needs. I can’t forget to add in a spa day! The most exciting things to try while in a new city is their most Instagram worthy spot to get unique content.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would start by giving my creator the glory. This journey has been guided by his grace. My mother also plays a major role in what I’ve been able to accomplish. Her love & support fuels my desires. Forever grateful for both forces.
