We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexander Simpson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alexander, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Owning a business I can call my own was always in my vision for as long as I can remember. Doing something I loved everyday would be fun and a type of motivation that was in some way natural because it is something that I enjoy doing. My business is inspired by my interest within the health world and all the great ways that I could provide alternative ways to help aid people with ailments they may suffer from. For so long we have been disconnected from mother nature and have forgotten about all the wonders she has to offer us when it comes to healing. I wanted to be the one to tell my version of her story and connect the people back to Mother nature through her many supernatural ways. Over the years I have acquired a great amount of financial literacy that has helped nurture my vision when it came down to starting my own health product business “Tinctuice”. Not only am I shedding light on healing people the natural way with more promising effects but, I am also creating jobs and opportunity for my family and others through my process.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Tinctuice is a small business with plans of expansion who specializes in natural ways in healing through tinctures and cold pressed juices. Master herbologist, Alexander Simpson, has dedicated his time and resources into mastering the relationship between herbs and the human body. Our products are all natural with no artificial additives made distinctively for each individual customer. To be where I am today business-wise was a tough road traveled although it was well worth the experience. I still haven’t reached the pinnacle of my business venture. We are still in the beginning stages, which means there may be more obstacles to overcome and definitely more growth to gain. The key that has helped me overcome certain challenges as a business owner is the fact that I know I have something to contribute that is for the greater good of the people and not just myself. Also, the fact that I wanted to tell my own story some day and not let defeat or fear be the author of my book. The biggest lessons I’ve learned thus far would be always have more faith and less fear. Be thankful for the good and the bad because there is a blessing in it all. Last but not least seek business and financial advance from those who are where you aspire to be one day.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to steak 48 for sure. When it came down to having the best drinks and great vibes in the city it would definitely have to be Urban Social and by the way whoever is reading this definitely go check out Urban Social. If you haven’t been to Austin, Tx you should definitely go and check out a place called Camp Lucy resort. I could say a lot about this place or just tell you you have to check it out for yourself because it is bliss and they offer a variety of attractions.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
All the people in my life rather their here today or around for a season deserve some praise because they have all played a role in me getting to this point in life. My partner, best friend, Kween deserves to stand out because she has been a major part in this Tinctuice creation every step of the way.
