We had the good fortune of connecting with Ali Haider and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ali, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
EVBOLT Inc values reliability, accessibility, and sustainability. Reliability is important because EV owners need to be able to trust that the charging stations will be functional and available when they need to charge their vehicles. Accessibility is important because EV owners need to be able to find and use charging stations conveniently, whether they are at home, at work, or on the go. Sustainability is important because EVs are considered a cleaner and more environmentally friendly form of transportation compared to gasoline-powered vehicles. Therefore, it’s important to ensure that the electricity used to charge EVs is generated from renewable sources such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power, to reduce the environmental impact of EVs. Without reliable, accessible, and sustainable charging infrastructure, the adoption of electric vehicles would be hindered.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
EVBOLT, laser-focused on a sustainable future, offers complete EV charging solutions with our cutting-edge AC and DC Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE). Our organization is convinced that sustainable net zero emission electric driven cars are the optimal transportation mode of the future. As the world’s population of EV drivers rises, so does the demand for EV charging infrastructure. In the next ten years, the global population of plug-in vehicles (PEVs) is expected to grow from roughly 10 million in 2020 to over 125 million.

We envision a world where improved energy management techniques are used to break the shackles of our fossil-fuel addiction and change inefficient energy consumption patterns. Therefore, we are on a mission to expedite a substantial shift toward electromobility. Our objective includes a strong commitment to network welfare and environmental assurance. In order to assist our clients in attaining their own sustainability goals, the organization takes a result-oriented strategy for both our consumers and employees.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Houston is a vibrant city with a lot to see and do. An excellent example of this is the Space Center Houston, an interactive museum dedicated to the history and future of space exploration. Additionally, we see the Houston Museum of Natural Science is home to a wide variety of exhibits, including permanent collections on minerals, paleontology, and space. But more importantly, I would like for them to create personal relations for their future growth and expose them to The Houston Technology Center which is an organization that helps entrepreneurs and startups in the Houston area develop and grow their businesses. The Ion is an accurate representation of such discovery, it is where a variety of tech-focused companies and organizations can be found. Similarly the Houston Hackathon, is an annual event that brings together developers, designers, and entrepreneurs to collaborate on new tech projects. Houston is the hub for discovery and exploration and is growing rapidly into a technologically flourished city.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
It’s important to have support and belief in your approach, the required motivation, and the inspiration to continue working toward your goals. It is great to see people and organizations working together to achieve common objectives.
