We had the good fortune of connecting with Alicea Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alicea, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I have always had a passion for baking and creating new and delicious baked goodies. God had laid it upon my heart to start my own bakery but fear of failure kept me from pursuing that dream. What should our readers know about your business?
Grammy’s cookie jar was birthed in October 2020 and has grown steadily with 5 star ratings. We are featured in many local farmers markets and breweries. We also have partnered with other local businesses such as Kendra Scott and local charities such as KCM.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
No Label brewery is a fun family experience that features live music, food trucks and of course Grammy’s cookie jar
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My assistant and loyal friend Kellie Svoboda
