Hi Allante, what do you attribute your success to?
Some important factors contributing to my success include having a strong personal brand, creating high-quality organic content, and a deep understanding of marketing and sales. Hence my business background in marketing allows me to sell and pitch myself to brands confidently and not afraid to put myself out there.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart are various factors: showing up as my authentic self, obtaining a high engagement rate through my ability to produce high-quality content, and maintaining a strategic brand alignment. My feed is entirely genuine, and I am consistently discoverable. Being discoverable is key; I am blessed to be in a position where most of my inquiries are inbound.

I’m the most proud of securing two magazine features—a manifestation of a goal set last year. Achieving not just one but two magazine features in a single year is incredibly satisfying. This adds a whole new layer of exposure, resulting in reaching a broader audience, which is also key.

My journey began with taking an unconventional path, starting with attending Clark Atlanta University, leading me to Atlanta. The decision to achieve my master’s degree eventually led me to my current employer. I say eventually because my initial job offer was at a completely different company. My current employer relocated me to Houston. Now if you ask me if this was a part of my plan, I’d say Not at all! I was supposed to attend Missouri State University. While in Houston meeting established influencers gave me the confidence to embark on my influencer journey. Attending Clark University opened many doors. Summing it all up, I deviated from the plan and stepped out on faith. Each decision was crucial, and through it all, I experienced many different challenges. I overcame those challenges by standing firm in my faith and trusting the process, which helped me prepare thoroughly for this present moment.

Two key lessons I’ve learned along the way is mastering the skill of pivoting. Recognizing that plans may not go as expected and need to pivot. I’ve learned to set realistic expectations to avoid disappointment. The second important lesson emphasizes managing my mental health. Embracing self-awareness, reflection, and understanding that challenges are opportunities. “Everything is happening for me and not to me”

My brand is distinct and specific, intentionally avoiding confusion and unrelated content. It’s clear, and laid out for everyone to understand easily—a brand that builds genuine connections. Looking ahead, I want my brand to be remembered for its cleanliness, positivity, fashion-forward thinking, and aesthetic appeal all rolled into one package.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would start Saturday by going on a coffee date at Lala Land in the Heights. That afternoon, we would unwind before heading to dinner at Il Bracco that night. On Sunday, after brunch at Homestead, we’d head over for some fun at Chapman and Kirby.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to express my gratitude to God for every opportunity without His grace, none of this would be possible. Major thanks to my family for their unwavering support. A big shoutout to my friend group, which is a constant source of encouragement as they consistently remind me of my potential. Lastly, appreciation to my photographer for her artistry!
