We had the good fortune of connecting with Amy Jo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Amy, what makes you happy? Why?
I’m the happiest when I’m helping someone find confidence in themselves. I see beauty in everyone and it makes my heart full when they can see it too.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Creating art has always been an outlet for me, enabling me to express myself and my emotions in such a way. I decided to attend school for Aesthetics to pursue my interest in beauty, esthetics and skincare. Before I knew it, everyone around me was getting married and needed help with their bridal makeup. One thing led to another and the rest is history! My favorite part about my job is that I get to help women feel confident through accentuating their own unique features.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In Salt Lake City, Utah there are endless things to do. One of my favorites pastimes is driving through the canyons to see the beautiful views! I love exploring nature and also finding new places to eat and shop. The best part about being in Utah is having all 4 seasons and observing all the changes!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My shoutout goes to the author of You are a Badass, Jen Sincero. That book really impacted the way I view the world and how I can take control over my life and create my reality. I still read it to this day!
