We had the good fortune of connecting with BeeJay Sisco and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi BeeJay, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process began my freshman year of college , I did not start until the end of my sophomore year . I just always felt like I had a cool way of dressing , so why not try to have my own clothing line ? I have always wanted to be my own boss ; working for somebody is just not my cup of tea . I love clothes & I love to dress weather it’s a suit , jogging pants , or shorts . I just love fashion .

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I believe the hardest challenge for me to overcome was when covid hit . I am a face to face type of person ; so with covid they shut everything down . I was not able to do pop up shops or anything of that nature . My mind is always thinking of something new , I’m always working ; so I believe that is what separates me from other people around the word . I just believe you should keep going in whatever your dream is and never give up . My brand is “EASE4L” which means your life should pretty much be at Ease . I don’t believe in worrying or struggling ; just keep going.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love amusement parks , so that’s the first place I would take a friend if they were coming in town . I also just like to chill & eat on some good food . I love to have good conversations . I love nice weather & walking in the park . I’m pretty much just a chill type of person.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a shoutout to God , who is the head of my life . My mother , father , sister , brother , and grandmother . I would also like to thank anybody who has supported my clothing brand & shown love .
