We had the good fortune of connecting with Bianca Barona Abud and we’ve shared our conversation below.

I am always present and making sure the clients have an amazing experience

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started my business during a very difficult and painful time in my life. I used to work as a Sales Director for Latin America, traveling all the time and having a very fun and excited job. One day, out of nowhere, my life changed when my son was diagnosed with Leukemia at age 3 and a month after I lost my job. After a few months of breaking my head trying to find the perfect job that allowed me to stay with my son at the hospital and also earn money I came up with this idea of mobile spa. The reason behind this is because I wanted to bring smiles and happiness to all the kids. I wanted them to be happy no matter how difficult life could get. I wanted them to forget about anything and just celebrate life. I learned that no matter what happens in your life you have to find the strength within you to keep on going and the best way to do it is putting a smile in your face and a positive attitude no matter the horror that you are living. That will change your entire day and you never now how that will help others to change their day too.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am from Veracruz, Mexico right the golf of Mexico so for me the beach is the best place to go. I know that we don’t have the best beaches here but I will take them to Galveston, to visit the beautiful Victorian mansions and after enjoy a relaxing day at the beach. There are plenty of fun things to do in Houston so many restaurants. Midtown is the perfect location to go.
