Hi Birendra Krisha, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I was too much passionate about fashion from teenage, I always have been thought everyone wearing good cloths how can somebody grab the attention by fashion in a decent way, then i realized a cloth means nothing until its complimenting your body and after that constantine’s journey begun.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I was loved to drawing in school even I got a medal from a competition without going any art school after that when my parents went me to a art school i found myself a color-blind and every day i had insulted by my teacher in-front of others because of chooseing wrong color for drawing. It was very embarrassing and I dropped out the art school but art never left me, I find a object beautiful when its design want to say something, you can spend lots of money for making your dream house but the house is without life and beauty, until its art is silence but art never left me, I find a object beautiful when its design want to say something, you can spend lots of money for making your dream house but the house is without life and beauty, until its art want to say something. My brand represent art of clothing, you have seen a painting of a beautiful women wearing gown but we are live in internet era, people don’t have time to go for painting exhibition to see a women in gown. Constantine offers live painting, a girl wearing Constantine cloth walking on street or in a social occasion gather around people, how to make her in lime-light, that Constantine actually do. People eyes will be stuck on her and thinking how made her beauty that much different.
For this reason people don’t have to acquire any art knowledge, because art will create the beautiness and beauty will grab the attention of people. I never been excited, I always stay calm. Creator should stay calm.
Life is uncertain, that’s why I proud of my-self spending 24 hrs in a day, doing my job without wasting my time living for other’s life.
There is no easy job for succeed. You have to do hard work with smartly otherwise you break the stone until the life ends. I never see challenges as competition because if you see the challenge as competition, you always get into the trap to be first, second, third ranking like we felt in school and colleges. always remember there is a comparative and superlative form of word good, “better and best” but there is no comparative and superlative form of unique. I failed so many times in professional life and personal life and I want to fail in future but I don’t want to fall. failure is the greatest teacher it’s testify the people around you is really wanna stay with you in your hardest time, failure define your life in most simple way because it’s give you only two option float or sink, failure is a great teacher to meet the success. I want my brand to make a milestone of this new era. I want my brand to be emotion of people. Any age group, any people belongs from any level of society whenever wear a cloth of Constantine he or she can feel it from bottom of heart. Whoever wears it, it gives them hope. My brand will be a part of people’s life because Constantine never lose any hope and it want their customers stay strong and beautiful every aspect of life. Whoever wears it, it gives them hope. When you provide value to your customer life, they always remember you in their entire life.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I I have grown up in a city eastern part of India called Kolkata, it’s also known as “city of joy” city of heritage” city of culture and art”, I found my first love here and every street of Kolkata carries small story of my of love life. I would always love to show my my best friend this city, love to share my stories while walking that street, that restaurant, that movie theater where once i ever felt that love.
The first place i would like to hangout with my friend at Princep Ghat. It’s one of a heritage site of Kolkata located on the Ganges river bank. it was a where I spent hour of time my love and you won’t believe how time has gone out like flow of river to seening this beauty. Lots of stories has in my memory about this place.
Then I want get him/her to the oldest cloth market of Kolkata where you can get cheap first copy Nike from expensive made in Paris perfume. It’s New Market, situated on Lindsey street, although it’s not new, it’s formerly known as Sir Stuart Hogg Market. I always shop cloths from here and lots of your favourite branded stores are here. It’s always busy with crowd and if you are expert in bargaining, this place is yours.
North Kolkata street tea shops are very popular some of them are centuries old, the smell of tea from street tea stall not only carries its aroma but also carries Kolkata’s history, so I definitely want to taste him/her this magic tea.
Kolkata has variety of spicy dishes here every restaurant is well known for serving its signature dish. bengali dishes are most popular but I would rather suggest my friend taste biriyani from Arsalan Restaurent because biriyani is my favourite food and Arsalan one of the best biriyani maker in Kolkata, it’s main branch is located in Park Circus and it’s popularity still hold the position among people.
After all the wonderful day I would like to see for night show with my friend in that movie theater, where I first ever time had seen a movie. Its name Prachi Cinema, it’s located near Kolkata’s prime railway station Sealdah. This cinema hall has old vibes sometime its felt like creepy but together all this things it would be great experienced.
And last I would to like to take my friend that place which always has been witness of my good and bad times. The Central Bar. where I enjoyed my good memorable time with my love together and that bad time when I lost her, i was sitting alone in corner with a glass of whisky and thinking about her. I would like to take my friend that bar and want to tell him/her all these stories from emotion and at last I want to tell my friend, that whisky taught me a thing that “I always have been with you until I finished, so feel the present, heal your past and think better for you future”.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First is my Dream which created the idea Second is my nephew Mr. Dipayan Barua who implemented the idea.
