We had the good fortune of connecting with Brianna Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brianna, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted something that would appeal to creatives in media. So any aspect that of that I wanted to cater too. I also love highlighting black creatives who are making a difference in their field.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started out in radio doing sales and marketing. That transitioned to being on air. I was also in news as a PA and worked my way to being a news producer.
None of it was easy because I saw at times I was being picked over for higher positions. Which in turn pushed me to learn other positions so when the time came I was ready! What I’ve learned along the way is patience is a virtue! You might get 100 No’s but all you need is 1 yes!
What I want people to know is without God, my family and hard work none of this would’ve been possible! If I continue on that path then more blessings will come!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I just moved to Birmingham, Alabama. I haven’t really gotten out much but I know some places!
To eat you can choose Cava, Cajun Roux, Big Bad Breakfast. I haven’t been to a lot of exciting places but also Atlanta is right up the street so there’s that!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
That is a good question! My family is definitely deserves credit! For all the times I was undecided on what I wanted to do! Lol but for supporting me, praying for me and encouraging me to go for my dreams!
