We had the good fortune of connecting with Briel Gorges Counts and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Briel, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting my own business stemmed from a desire for autonomy and a passion to create something meaningful. I wanted to solve problems, pursue my interests, and have control over my work environment and direction. It’s about building something from scratch, leaving a mark, and embracing the challenges and rewards that come with entrepreneurship. The decision was also deeply rooted in a desire to transition from caring for the sick in the hospital to promoting prevention and holistic well-being. My personal struggles with self-image fueled a passion to be an ally in addressing people’s concerns and fostering wellness. While offering traditional treatments like tox and fillers at our medspa, we prioritize services like IV drip therapy and weight loss management, aiming to help people feel good from the inside out. We’re excited to expand our offerings to include more wellness services to better support our patients’ health needs in the near future as well.
What should our readers know about your business?
Our business, a boutique medspa, stands out for our commitment to personalized care. We take the time to truly listen to our patients’ concerns and address them with a focus on achievable outcomes, not upselling. What makes us unique is our emphasis on supporting natural beauty rather than promoting drastic, overdone results.
Getting to where we are today has been a journey filled with challenges. Running a business is never easy, but we’ve learned valuable lessons along the way. We’ve had to navigate financial hurdles, market competition, and the ever-evolving landscape of the wellness industry. Overcoming these challenges required resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to learn from both successes and failures.
What I’m most proud of is our unwavering commitment to our patients’ well-being and satisfaction. Every day, we strive to make a positive impact on their lives, helping them feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.
Looking ahead, I want the world to know that our brand is not just about aesthetics; it’s about empowerment and self-care. We’re here to support our patients on their journey to feeling their best, both inside and out. Our story is one of passion, perseverance, and a genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to dedicate a shoutout to my husband, Michael, whose unwavering support and encouragement have been instrumental in this journey. Through the long days, endless hours, and never ending to do list he is always there cheering me on and reminding me to keep going. My patients, for entrusting me with their well-being and inspiring me to continually improve. My family and friends, for their love and understanding, especially during the challenging moments, for their constant cheerleading and belief in my vision. Additionally, I’m grateful for the injector community that I am a part of that provides understanding, guidance, and support.
