Meet Brittany Shannon | Prenatal and pediatric chiropractor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Shannon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Most people don’t know we can adjust babies or that chiropractic care is helpful for more than just pain. When I tell people I’m a pediatric chiro the look at me like I’m crazy! People always ask “do you crack babies??” A baby adjustment is so gentle and shouldn’t have any audible sound in babies. Also as a nervous system based chiropractor I help with much more than just pain. My job is to allow your brain to communicate better with your body through a clear nervous system this helps you adapt to everyday stress easier. Many people see us for wellness to stay feeling and functioning at a higher level! I like to tell my patients using chiropractic just to get out of pain is like using an iPhone just for the calculator.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The definition of fount is the source of a desirable commodity or trait I started fount to be the source of community connection and healing. I want people to remember me and fount as a place they felt safe, found healing within themselves and found connection to a like Minded community around them! Most of all I want them to see Jesus in us and know they are loved! It wasn’t easy and it has evolved and grown along the way Networking has helped grow our practice and being authentically me. Meeting people and being passionate about what I do and who I can help has served me so well! I love my profession and know how much it can help! I’ve learned to trust myself and that people love authenticity! They know a fake from a mile away. I want people to know they will be loved and prayed for here and supported in anyway we possibly can. I want people to feel peace when coming through our doors knowing whatever else is going on in the world, in our office there is rest.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We love the free trolly through the woodlands! You can hop on and off and explore market street, the waterway and Hughes landing! We love eating in the waterway taking the trolly to market street for a concert and getting ice cream in Hughes landing after! We love old town springs cute shops and downtown Tomball has an amazing farmers market!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Jesus! Honestly I couldn’t do anything without Jesus’s guidance and strength! I have an amazing support system including my fantastic husband, Caleb, and family that pray for me and our success. We had a worship night in our office space before we opened and I know the Lord had guided our decisions and lead us to where we are!
