Hi Candice, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I saw a clear need to support small to mid-sized businesses by helping them build a strong HR foundation. As I’ve mentioned before, HR is often the last thing entrepreneurs think about—it’s an afterthought. They hire family members or admins without focusing on compliance, which creates big risks down the line.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We stand out by building compliant HR foundations from day one, promoting employee accountability, safety, and social responsibility. Unlike generic consultants, we empathize with real employee struggles to help businesses and people thrive together. I’m most proud of my relentless drive that keeps everything from going to waste, even on tough days. Seeing clients and teams find happiness and success through our support fuels me—it’s when passion aligns with purpose. It wasn’t easy; HR is an afterthought for startups, so breaking through required calculated risks with backup plans. I overcame hurdles by fostering open communication, owning mistakes without taking them personally, and rejecting work-life balance as a facade—instead integrating priorities seamlessly. Success means aligning passion with purpose and persisting regardless. Know when to push forward by weighing wasted efforts against vision. Above all, businesses must prioritize people—creating safety and empathy in decisions defines true impact.
