We had the good fortune of connecting with Carolyn Bobb-Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carolyn, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
To stop building other people’s businesses and dedicate 100% of my time and energy into building my own brands ! I loved every company I’ve worked for and gave them my all with little or no appreciation or recognition! Then I asked myself , what if I did all this work to grow my own brands ? Well , here I am today !!!!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
As a Creativeprunuer.. you have a lot of ideas that you want to create and implement.  I have created what I call the Trifecta of businesses.

A Child Care Center
Adventures In Learning Academy

A Early Childhood Training Service
Training U To Succeed

And a Boutique
Style It Up Boutique

All to fulfill my purpose of serving , encouraging, and building people !

I want the world to know that every brand we have built will offer them amazing service that is customized to their  needs !! We strive to make every customer or client feel their best self !!

Here is what I can tell those who want to build their own business or businesses.

Building these three businesses was not easy!!

Planning was essential and execution was key !
Doing a little everyday will get you to where you want to be. Remember don’t get overwhelmed and end up doing nothing !!
Know that not everyone will believe in your dreams or buy what you are selling . It is  your job to help them see the value in your service. This is done by showing them over and over what you have to offer and how it is like no other service . Stay consistent and continue to stand out . Show the world what makes you different.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am an original 713, 281 Girl and I love my city .
A week with me in H- Town
Would include :
Staying at the Marriott Marquis Houston. For that Texas shape pool , of course !
Shopping at Style it up Boutique ( my favorite boutique ).
Visiting the Galleria
Hitting the Heights’ Cadillac Bar, Present Company , and Lost and Found.
Checking out the museum district
Herman Park , and the zoo.
We would wrap up the visit with the Kemah Boardwalk .
So much to do and so little time to do it !!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I owe a huge part of my success to my biggest cheerleader….my mom..my mommy..sugamama… Debra. I also want to thank my daughters and niece for always helping me , giving me ideas, and the sacrifices they have made so that our businesses could thrive!! My entire family ( yes you too dad ..Gary)
