We had the good fortune of connecting with Chanté Henderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chanté, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting my own business, was simple. I needed to build a brand that was Two things. One being a business I actually enjoy working at & Two being successful. I thought to myself “What is something I truly enjoy doing, that also people love?”. Automatically Desserts came to mind. From there Dipped&DesignedByTé was born.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Here at Dipped&DesignedByTé, I believe that creating one of a kind Unique Designs, remembering to have fun & truly being my overly creative self for each of my customers, is what sets me apart from the rest.

I’m most proud of how much I’ve grown confidently in my craft. Having the happiness and well, hard earn money of a customer can become a lot of pressure at times, but knowing that you’re putting your all in what you create and someone thought you were great enough to refer, restores that confidence for me and keeps me going.

Professionally, I believe I made it here with a fair amount of research, understanding, & treating everyone with the same respect as I would expect & appreciate in return.
Was it easy? I would love to say yes, but we all know that in Business world, you’ll have a few ups and downs along the way. As long as you’re willing to learn and grow you’re on the right track.

A few lessons I’ve learned along the way while building Dipped&DesignedByTé is one, always be willing to learn. There’s always something you don’t know. Having an open mind will get you further. Two, be open to change. Lastly, staying positive. You think positive, & positive will be the outcome.

I would like the world to know that Dipped&DesignedByTé is just getting started. Our Brand, Creativity, & Love for our business is Constantly growing everyday. We would love for you all to come on the ride us! I Promise you won’t be disappointed.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite Food & Drink spots here in Houston would be Lost&Found, Taste Bar, & Stuff’d Wings. I think the names of these places speak for themselves lol. Activity wise? I actually love getting a city pass. On it there’s a list of all the top things to do here in Houston. Over all it makes it easier to fill your day and get the most out of the city.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, Dipped&DesignedByTé would love to give a huge shout-out to our #1 support system, our family! From encouraging words, to Behind the scenes with helping hands. We’re definitely appreciative of each and everyone of them. The runner up for the next shoutout goes to who keeps us in business, our Customers of course ! No way would Dipped&DesignedByTé be as successful as we are Today without our Loving, Loyal Customers.
