We had the good fortune of connecting with Charles Warren and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Charles, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Baseball had been my entire life since I was a young boy. I began playing at the age of 3 and the game got into my blood. During my baseball tenure, I won a state championship in high school and went on to play at the collegiate level at Rice University. Unfortunately a shoulder injury almost potentially ended my favorite past time in college. Chiropractic entered into my life in an amazing way. I was told that surgery would be my only recourse but after visiting a Chiropractor, changed the course of my future. Fast forward to the present, I ventured into the practice that saved my favorite hobby. My mission now is to educate people about better alternatives in the journey of wellness and this path we call life.
SYNC Chiropractic was birthed out of a heart for helping people who have been told there is only a life of medications and/surgery. Our goal here is to provide a place that is much more affordable and effective that offers patients a much better quality of life. After working for other clinics in a variety of fields, I ventured off and opened my practice in October of 2022 located in The Woodlands/Spring area. In this short time, we have been blessed with the opportunity of meeting and treating our amazing neighbors in the community.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
SYNC Chiropractic is an atmosphere of hospitality, relationships and care. I am excited to have the opportunity to provide the unique experience that my patients have described in today’s culture. “Old School Care” with “New School Treatment” is what sets us apart in the chiropractic community.
It is not easy to begin a business of any kind, large or small. It takes courage, capital and patience to wander out into the entrepreneurial landscape that holds many unknowns. But having faith in stepping out and believing in the gifts God has given, turns the fear of the unknown to becoming trust in the future ahead.
Our clinic’s goal is to keep people active and relieve biomechanical, musculoskeletal and neuromuscular injuries that may be causing a patient discomfort. Our passion is helping patients get back to doing the things they love and getting their body Back in SYNC!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The Houston and surrounding areas provide a plethora of amenities to enjoy. I would first take them to either a Houston Astros game or a Rice University Owls game. Afterward, we would go to one of the popular restaurants around the area, there are so many to choose from. For the week, there is the coast to the south, the Piney Woods to the east of us, the Alamo to the west and lakes, rivers and nature of all kinds surrounds us. I would have to ask them what they would want to do!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Coming out of college it is always difficult for most people not to know the path they need to take in life. Fortunately, that was not the case with me. My girlfriend, and family who had been there for me throughout my baseball journey & injury were supportive of me as I explored the idea of becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. The years of studying & schooling in learning how the body works only cemented my beliefs in natural alternatives in health care. I am truly grateful for all of their support and encouragement in helping me achieve the position of Doctor of Chiropractic.
