Meet Charna Robinson | Hair and lash business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Charna Robinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Charna, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to do something that could be of service, I wanted women to feel beautiful and look beautiful inside and out, and we all know it starts with our hair if our hair is not in place it’s just not a good day lol, and let’s not start on the lashes these 2 are a must for us ladies. So I decided I wanted to sell hair extensions and lashes, I said to myself I need to do the research before, I wanted to have good vendors in place so my business could prosper, so I

did that and in February of 2020 I launched my hair and lash business.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a small business owner who currently still works a 9-5 and runs her business while working and after, so it’s pretty much early mornings and late nights for me. I am most excited about customers and how they feel when they are wearing my products, I got where I am by being being a hard worker, hustler at heart, inspiration, motivation and most of all being consistent. As I’ve stated before entrepreneurship is not for the weak I’ve learned a lot and I’m still learning, you can never know too much never stop learning knowledge can get you very far in life. I and I’m sure other business owners one of the worries were for me “clientele” but I had to realize if god gave me the business idea he will provide the clientele. My Brand aim to please the customers we have great quality hair and lashes for all the ladies we do not discriminate, I promise you will not be disappointed all hair products and lashes are THE TRUTH!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well I’m in Houston so of course we would have to visit some of the best brunch spots to eat such as Phil & Derek’s, Grace’s, and we definitely would have hit some lounge bars and just vibe I’m very adventurous person I like to see different things, visit different places, and just site see.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
So of course to start off shout-out’s to my mom and siblings, family, friends and there were some people who are not family that I call family they supported me from the start and til this day they still do and I’m appreciative of them a business cannot prosper without people. There’s also a book I read and I actually go back to it from time to time it’s called the prosperity bible, there are so many stories of entrepreneurs and how they started from ground zero to millionaires it’s a great read starting and running a business is not for the weak at heart but consistency is definitely key!
