We had the good fortune of connecting with Chauntel Willis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chauntel, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
The decision to continue doing something or to stop, is part of living, and that’s what makes every choice interesting. Giving up should NEVER be an option especially if it’s something you believe in. If you give up, you have failed yourself and those that are watching you. Understand that great things take time. When others say give up, tell yourself “Try it one more time”.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
CNA Credit Solutions specialize in removing inaccurate and erroneous information from personal credit reports and helping businesses build/obtain business credit. What sets us apart from others is our mission. Our mission is to make sure ALL clients reach financial success while educating them along the way. I’m excited to watch my business reach new levels of success. I started this business while being a full-time educator. Teaching is a very high demanding profession and cannot be taken lightly. It was definitely challenging trying to run a business full time, educate young minds to the next phase in life, being a wife and mother of 3. When I got off work, I spent time with my family until they were in the bed and then I worked on my business while everyone was asleep. I had to continue to remind myself “its temporary and failure is not an option”. The biggest lesson I learned along the way is sometimes you outgrow your old friends because you realize all you had in common was your past, not your future. I want the world to know CNA Credit was built with intentions to make an impact on each and every person we encounter.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them near downtown Houston for the best food. We would visit Foodie Bar, Turkey Leg Hut, The Breakfast Club and Post Houston. We would hang out at several bars near/in Midtown. One of the fun things to do in Houston is ride at Eado Big Boy Toy Rental and see the murals downtown.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out Marcus Barney with Recession Proof. Marcus has changed my perspective on entrepreneurship.
