We had the good fortune of connecting with Chillz Marley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chillz, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to be my own man and have a place where I could bring my visions and ideas to life without having to ask if I could.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Music has always had a strong influence on my life as far as I can remember, but to be honest I never thought I would be making my own growing up . I was never good at expressing myself as a kid until I fell in love with the art of dancing through hip hop culture. It became my first passion and livelihood but even before that I was introduced to music through my father who was a very talented musician. He showed me all about percussion and we realized we shared a common love for the drums . This is where my connection started to make sense . As I got older I would work constantly on my craft for ever facet of the art form I could . You could I say I’m a perfectionist . It’s played a huge part on my journey building up my work ethic and determination though life would take major turns at times which kept me from taking that leap of faith for the longest . Now that I’m doing my thing , it just feels right . Finally feels likes it’s
my time

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There’ has been many people who I’ve learned a thing or two from along the way . A lot of them are no longer here with us but for the ones that are, I truly appreciate them for any tips, inspiration, and support
