Meet Chip Baker: 4th Generation Educator, Author, Speaker and Podcaster

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chip Baker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chip, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Chip Baker- The Success Chronicles is a youtube channel/podcast where I interview people of all walks of life and shares their stories for positive inspiration and motivation. It was started because I realized that I have been blessed and fortunate to be raised by and be around some amazing people throughout my life. I wanted to show appreciation to them by highlighting their stories. Little did I know, It would grow at an alarming rate and far surpass anything I ever thought that it would be. I am grateful for the opportunities. I feel that it is making a positive impact on the world. 

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Chip Baker- The Success Chronicles was created over 4 years ago. I am proud about the growth that has taken place over the years. It is a good feeling to have the ability to highlight others and share their stories. All of us have had messes in our life. Sometimes what we don’t realize is that our mess can be an inspiring message for someone else. We all have to grow through our go through. I am excited about the future and opportunities to connect with more people and build more quality relationships. It has definitely been a grind but I believe that when we are fortunate to do the things that we are destined to do we are placed in alignment with our assignment. Throughout this journey with The Success Chronicles I have learned that we are the sum total of our environments, experiences, relationships and actions. If we are aware, we can pull the blessings from the lessons we have learned and use those to help others.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Houston is nice area because you have access to do anything that may interest you within a 45 minute drive. There is lots of entertainment, sports and great cites to see. I appreciate the cultures represented and the amazing art all over the city.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to shoutout the amazing educators for doing all that they can to ensure the success of children all over the world through these uncharted times. (Covid, Social Injustice and Social issues etc.) Despite the challenges they show up and make an impact each day.
