We had the good fortune of connecting with Clemon Malbreau III and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Clemon, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
I have two favorite quotes/affirmation’s! The first one is by the Great Dr. Suess: “Today I shall behave as if this is the day I will be remembered”. I passionately live by this quote daily and I love the outcome everyday. Waking up and putting the Armor of God on I say to myself “How can I add today where I left off from yesterday”? I humbly can say when you are destined to make changes in the world you have to be aware, it won’t be an easy task. We have to walk out of our homes daily with our head up, chest out and walk heel to toe proudly. Some people say it’s arrogance but I call it being a child of God because my Heavenly Farther didn’t design me to walk with my head down. With this being said, I strive to be the person I was designed to be. My daily purpose is led and all my steps are ordered by God. I want people to be impacted by my spirit and my kindness as well as love. Yes, we all have bad days but remember, our good days out weigh our bad. My second favorite quote is “Kid You’ll Move Mountains” Dr. Suess also. I believe I was set up for success at conception. My parents always instilled in me “YOU CAN DO IT” they were the biggest influence in my life. I was raised on Dr. Suess Books and now I see the meaning of them all on a different level as an adult. I have had many challenges in my life but through them all, I have hit them like a baseball making each one a homerun, And always waiting on the pitcher to throw one more. Yes! Move Mountain, MOVE!

Being an Artist/Creator is a great accomplishment. As a person with greatness and zeal I try to go above and beyond. Being a great Artist/Creator starts with GREAT customer service. I like to set the atmosphere for my Guest as well as myself to give that great experience. I set the atmosphere initially by respectfully asking them if they are comfortable in an attempt to see how they are feeling. I set my mood with music and this where the magic begins. I am most excited about the loyalty of my clients, That is what keeps me on point and forever looking for more ways to enhance my craft. Where I am today I am always keeping my eye on the prize cause I know it’s more out there for me. I am always looking for new techniques and ways to improve myself in the classroom as well as behind the chair. Being blessed as a full service artist/creator “NO” it was not easy. I keep my head up daily and I don’t let anything get over my head. Balance make it easy for me. I balance my routine daily and give everything the exact amount of attention that is required. Remembering where I come from and my passion for my craft, I have overcome challenges by prayer, meditation and focus. Along the way I have learned many of life’s lessons but the most powerful lesson I have learned was to treat people with respect and believe in what you are doing. I have doubted myself where it was becoming harmful to my inner self, I learned how to let go and remind myself of the passion I have for my craft. I want the world to know I am very passionate about what I do and I will always love it. In this world we have many destinations but only with the proper guidance and being led by God, we have to believe all things are possible.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Port Arthur TX is my home however, being that I am 45 minutes away from Lake Charles Louisiana and an hour and a half away from Houston TX, I would take a road trip. For a week long visit itinerary, I would begin with brunch at Black Walnut Cafe or maybe even Phil and Derek’s on Sunday. After brunch, I would take them to Mid Town for a tour and cocktails at Cafe Anaya’s. On Monday, I would take them for a tour of Beaumont TX historical sites. I would continue with a tour of Port Arthur historical sites. Personally, I do not care to eat out on a regular base and for this reason, I cook. My parents made sure that I was able to cook for myself. I would take them to Galveston, TX not only for the beach but also to see the beautiful historical homes. We would Visit Lake Charles, LA for dinner and also to show off the many casino’s. I would take them to a movie, bowling and also roller skating. I would have a few meet and greets at my home so that my in town friends could mingle with my out of town guest and of course, I would cook. I tend to rent shows on cable so that would be on the to do list also. We would go shopping in various malls in all of the aforementioned cities, making sure to stop at the Houston Galleria. We would definitely go ice skating.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Living daily believing people in my path are supposed to be there. I can proudly say I have a great support system! I grew among the best of the best and I have had the pleasure to be led by those individuals. I love the fact that I have these people in my life because they are my best cheerleaders. I appreciate my clients for the support and encouragement, they continue to say “Go For IT”. God will send you the people that are for you. My friends and family tell me daily how proud they are of my accomplishments. Their support lead me through rough and lonely times. The greatest mentors I have of all were my parents, they worked hard and were both successful; however it was not easy. I watched them daily, working full time jobs and going to school while supporting their family. I saw them do this on a regular base and they made it look easy but as an adult, I know it wasn’t. The greatest motivator of all, has been myself. Self motivation is so powerful. While speaking with a Global Artist, we shared our true feelings about life and God and I can honestly say the Holy Spirit jumped in. The most powerful powerful moment was acknowledging how we can lay a hand on ourselves and encourage ourselves in the Lord. At that moment we went further in the spirit and came into agreement that night that we were going to baptize ourselves in the shower. OH MY OH MY….It began. We went to our rooms and done just that. We both prayed came into agreement about everything we discussed. BUT GOD! The next few day’s were so powerful, we both were blessed and over blessed. In that moment, my life changed! I continue to anoint myself and continue with my belief.
