Meet Codye Williams | Radio Personality

We had the good fortune of connecting with Codye Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Codye, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
The way to know whether to give up or keep going, is by truly knowing your identity. Knowing who you are and believing who God has called you to be in the earth gives you a certain confidence that shouldn’t die.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Always be teachable. One thing about me is I’ll be a student to life until the day I perish. There’s so much to learn! Life obstacles married with my faith in God make me stronger and teaches me how to be consistent in my every day walk of life, even though obstacles may seem overwhelming or unbearable.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love escape rooms! Any friend of mine would know that. So, first on the list is an escape room. Secondly, we have to grab food somewhere. More than likely pizza. We may also go all throughout downtown Houston during the night for sight seeing. Also, i’ll take them to visit my radio station where I work, just for fun. Maybe call some other friends have game night in and play Taboo. It all depends.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My grandmother. I recently loss my grandmother, someone who was very influential in who I am and have yet to become. She raised me and instilled so many great things in me, growing as a adolescent teenage boy. So much of my success’s in my career and business I can attribute to her life.
