We had the good fortune of connecting with Courtney Crabtree and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Courtney, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
The most important decision I made that contribute to my success is creating a lifestyle that aligned me with my goals I set for my family. My son has been my motivator in achieving the success I’ve made this far. He plays a major role in my business. I created my brand so I could past it onto him if he chooses to take on that role. He is only four years old but encourages me as I work and even offers to help me. With that being said most of my creations are made with the help of my son.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Tee Fairy HTX brand was created in January 2020. Our mission is to make growing your business easy, accessible, and affordable! We believe anyone can start a successful business and we want to be the ones to help you do it. With hard work and consistently networking and marketing our brand we have built a clientele of both new and returning clients.

At The Tee Fairy HTX we set ourself apart by offering excellent customer service, affordable pricing, and an easy way for anyone to start their own business. We strive to help bring our clients visions to life.

We are most excited about expanding our business to becoming a supplier for other customized businesses to help them increase productivity quickly. This will help our clients grow and make money more quickly without the hassle of trying to do all the manual labor. Our new service offers Direct to Film Transfers both custom and ready to press transfers. This method allows you to get the job done with only a heat press and about 10 seconds of your time!

Although, all business has its challenges I can say within this type of business it has its peaks and valleys. By that I mean there is going to be times when business is super slow, this is we’re you get creative and have to find ways to continue to make sales during those down seasons.

The Tee Fairy HTX is heading into its third year in business. We have so much planned for this year that we can not wait to share with the world. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When it comes to making plans with friends I just go with the flow of the day. I would search events happening for the week for us to possibly attend to. I love art, music and exploring nature. Within our week long activities we will do a little self care by going to a spa, enjoy some time meditating and reflecting on our journeys thus far. I can’t forget about a good brunch day preferably one with great music, and aesthetics for pictures.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Firstly, I’d like to take my mother. She has played a major role in my life and my business. Although, it took some time for her to see my vision. She supports me as much as she can. Secondly, I’d like to give a special shout-out to my son. He is the most creative, talented, handsome four year old I know. While he is just four years old he encourages me daily saying things like “ Go Mommy Go!” “ You Can Do It Mommy!”. Just to hear him say those words and be so supportive at his ages lets me know I’m doing an amazing job as a single mother/ business owner.
