We had the good fortune of connecting with Crystal Washington-Auzenne and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Crystal, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
With everything that’s going on in the world, bringing families, friends and the communities together to celebrate life, helps us all to focus on things that matter most; perhaps more than ever before. Crystal Clear Events help the community and the world by providing exquisite décor, unique entertainment in a fun environment. We guarantee the adventures will be endless when we organize your event, celebrating those memorable milestones to share with family and friends. There’s nothing like planning for an enchanted wedding to compliment an elegant bridal shower that leads to a treasured baby shower, and in no time the over-the-top characterized 1st birthday, or a sensational sweet sixteen. When jaws drop at the eloquent grand openings, and tears for those quick years; the high school graduate can party like it’s 1999, lol, as we anticipate marking one of the most solemn celebrations, their college graduations! What I do, is more than a business. It’s a calling to let my clients focus on enjoying the moment while we focus on every intricate detail, to make their celebrations big or small, truly unforgettable.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am more than an Event Planner/Designer. As the CEO of Crystal Clear Events, we turn your dreams into realities. I am a visionary. Each event is original, uniquely orchestrated to compliment an individual’s personality. Most of my decorations are hand-crafted. We plan to transform any space into a party place! My experience almost outweighs my number of years lol. Remember, I was born into a family of creativity. I’m not new to this, I’m true to this~ Crystal Clear Events has touched many hearts and lives through small family dinners to huge family reunions. My clients receive my personal passion every time. There’s nothing too small or to big. We’re prepared for Galas, backyard BBQs, Quinceanera, Mardi Gras Balls-Louisiana style of course, my roots-made and raised. I’ve learned it’s important to never forget where you came from and use your past to draw strength to create the future you desire. I’m gifted to investigate what the majority would look over. Crystal Clear Events professional and neat styles are consistently perfected. My clients receive exceptional service beyond their expectancy. As the Founder of Crystal Clear Events, I’ve never stopped believing in myself. I got here by reaching further than I could imagine and expanding my business knowledge through education and connecting to like-minded individuals. Nothing worth having will ever be easy but it’s absolutely- worth it. If you want it, you must work for it. I love listening to my clients and trying new things. The joy I see in their eyes when they walk into a room, after I’ve transformed it into pure bliss is priceless beyond words. I want the world to know that even threw my shyness, I’m probably one of the strongest women you’ll ever meet. I have a good heart and I use my talents to give gifts of memories that could never be erased. Crystal Clear Events is my brand that I take seriously. I’ve served regionally, across states and envision being internationally known. My clients are my priority and Crystal Clear Events is a dependable organization that deliver results, every time.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
Well Houston, (H-Town) is known for its fabulous food/entertainment & nightlife. 1st spot I take my family & friends when they’re in town is Turkey Leg Hut. They have the best tasting turkey legs I’ve ever had in my life! I’ve been a fan a long time, I started going there when they were on Washington Ave. So I am a super fan lol 2nd spot would be Gringos; my entire family loves Mexican cuisine. I can taste those seafood enchiladas and mouth-watering watermelon margaritas. LOL 3rd Shopping til we drop!!! Baybrook Mall is the spot. It’s my favorite mall in the Houston Area. Indoor/outdoor style, Restaurants and even a Dave & Buster’s for some entertainment and fun! I always take time to play! Life is too short not to enjoy it. 4th Top Golf, for a night of fun and games for kids of all ages! 5th Let’s dance. Bar hopping at its ‘best. There are so many to choose from, we’d bounce all night long! We would end the weekend with a Brunch at Taste Bar Kitchen and immensely enjoy their delectable meals. My favorite is the lamb chops and red velvet waffles! I am a Louisiana Girl that loves living in Houston/Pearland Texas!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to recognize and dedicate my shout-out to my beautiful children and my wonderful husband, they encourage me daily. My kids were one of the reasons I started an event planning business. I love being their Mom. Every year I’d go overboard decorating their parties. I smile when they smile. Those kids mean the world to me and I am setting an example, that they too can do anything they set their mind, and hands to do. My Nanny (grandmother) was also an event/wedding planner. I adore her immensely. She was and will always be my inspiration. Her creativity lives through me. I hope one day to pass the torch to the next generation in our family!
