We had the good fortune of connecting with Curtis “Allstar Chuck” Brasfield Sr and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Curtis “Allstar Chuck”, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Being up front about my business and what I can do!; doing good business and providing good customer service!
What should our readers know about your business?
My business is called Earcatching Artist Services, and we are a artist development company that helps music artist such as singers, producers, rappers get registered and understand the music side of the music business, such as ascap/ BMI/ Soundexchange, radio promo runs with interviews. I use to be a artist myself so when I moved to Houston in 2012 so the biggest challenge was the transition from front person to be behind the scenes. I want the world to know That Earcatching Artist Services is helping indie artist lay the foundation to be strong to be able to build!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First I would take my friend to Flava its one of the best seafood spots in the city. Then I would say lets take a trip to Galveston to just chill out then. Then we would go check out the improv they normally have great acts that come through Houston all the time.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I first off would like to thank my mom, my mom always allowed me to be me and never tried to steer me away from. I wanna thank Postman 2 G for introducing me to Houston and giving me my first clients and also Texas 101 Jams Owner Jeremy Nobles for allowing me to plant my seed and grow from that and Ms Linda for referring me to Texas 101 Jams
