We had the good fortune of connecting with Dajur Mobley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dajur, the decisions we make often shape our story in profound ways. What was one of the most difficult decisions you’ve had to make?
Not going to college and removing myself from my family. It was tough at times to have that confidence when family, friends & society are pushing you to just work a 9-5.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others is they haven’t put there livelihood on the line for something they believe in like I did. Anything could’ve went wrong but I still took risk & lived in different states to get that WIN.

I grew up in a group home from 12 years old to my senior year in high school. Childhood was very different but we didn’t let it define us.
I moved to Ohio with a friend I knew of & then things went bad so I came back to Virginia.
My family was already doubting me & I had mad depression to the point where I attempted suicide.

I found Job Corps a government trade school in West Virginia & left my toxic enviroment.
I stayed there until Covid came about & collected that Trump Aid money.
A graphic designer messaged me from San Antonio & after we talked I was planning to visit Texas for 2 weeks.

After the 2 weeks visit I knew I had to move to Texas. I stacked up my money for 1 month then made the move permanent.
Texas is where the ground work for my brand OBM started to be visual & not just a dream idea. I had to leave San Antonio because of money problems.

Before I moved I visited Las Vegas where I met a digital marketer to learn how to promote my brand.

Houston is Home!! This is the city I knew deep down I can get OBM off the ground & become successful in entrepreneur. I hired some social media influencers to help make content for my brand so I can start running successful facebook ads .
The growth that has been made while living in houston for a few months has been great. I love this city the 713

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love looking at downtown houston at night with all the bright colorful lights. I come from a small town so that motivates me everytime I see downtown at night.

Food- its so many places to eat at but I would say so far I like Midtown

Drink- one of the bars in Downtown or Midtown

Houston has alot of neat little spots for whatever you are feeling in the mood for.

The parks are nice especially Hermman Park. The scooters in downtown I like to use for fun at times while sight seeing Hustle Town.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My true OBM supporters & a few people during the journey I picked up some knowledge from

Also the negative enegry towards my dreams & goals.
