We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Ramirez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
It has always been my dream since I was a kid, I always knew I wanted to be someone and do something with my life. I never imagined it would be in the music industry but that’s life, you never know what it’s going to bring you. I didn’t start taking music seriously until 2020 and that is what’s crazier to me how much music grew into me in a short amount of time. It’s my art and it’s my way to express myself.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am YNDChino, I do music. I take it upon myself as a way to free my mind, it’s my gateway. The world will know my name one day, it’s been ups and downs but I still stand everyday trying to perfect my craft. Definitely motivated than ever, putting my life on every song hoping whoever is listening can have something to step their foot in and feel related, also, be able to overcome any obstacles that life brings. Everyone has a story but it’s not about how you tell it but how you get up, bounce back and let the world know where you crawled yourself out of. I’m proud of what I went through, what I lived and continue to live. I will keep learning every time trying to mold myself into a better version of me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Being from Houston you have plenty of options. Not just because it’s my hometown but the diversity here makes for a new experience every time. I would definitely recommend ‘The Grilled Cheese’ for brunch, and you can’t go wrong with Washington Ave. and/or Midtown for a couple of drinks on the weekend. Definitely my go to.

I would like to give a special shout-out to my friend and producer Geovanni Vidal, with whom I started this journey with.
