We had the good fortune of connecting with David Krichmar and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi David, is there something you believe many others might not?
Life is hard. I don’t think life is hard nor does it need to be. Sure there will be hard times. But believing life is hard makes it up an uphill battle. What if life was awesome and easy. Deal with the hard times when they come, Don’t look for hard times.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am a mortgage banker and with Legend Home Lending. I am also known at Dave Your Mortgage Guy. Honestly in many ways life work became real easy once I got out of my own way. I believe many of things that will grow your business and success are not the standard processes we are taught. For me the key is making the process as easy and stress free as I can for my clients. I do not see many if any businesses actually look at how to reduce the client’s stress. Or how to reduce it for their employees also, How can I reduce their stress and make them more efficient. Maybe that is by doing things other company wouldn’t out of fear.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh for sure i would take them to Perry’s for a porkchop! It is life changing. Then take them to Galveston to see the Beach Catch a Stros Game!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
For me it is my wife. The path of my life changed greatly when I met her. Here outlook on life changed mine. She also opened my eyes to many things that changed my life such as meditation, yoga, etc. She keeps me grounded and balanced. Without her I would not be where I am in life and business.
