We had the good fortune of connecting with Deisy Zuniga and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Deisy, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
The habit that has helped me succeed, is persistence & perfectionism. Being a perfectionist by nature, I was determined & almost obsessed with mastering the art of eyelash extensions. I find that when I really love something it’s almost impossible for me to give up without getting it right. It’s not the best trait in other aspects of life, but in the tedious task of lashing it’s almost necessary I would say.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Lashed Babes has now grown into a beauty studio that provides many different beauty services, that also includes Lash Training. Our team is composed of my sisters and I, all licensed estheticians. We use top of the line products and don’t believe in cutting corners. The main focus is to provide a top quality experience and create long term relationships with our clients. We believe in quality, not quantity. Our salon runs by appointments only and our clients appreciate the focused attention we give them. There are many challenges behind operating a small business and I am still learning every day. I’ve learned that growing positive relationships with others in the same business as mine for tips and support is very helpful. We are a woman owned business trying to provide an atmosphere with positive vibes and inspire other women to follow their dreams.

During the growth of my business, my husband Nate has been the constant behind the scenes support system that makes Lashed Babes what it is.
