We had the good fortune of connecting with DeLisa Treshelle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DeLisa, how does your business help the community?
At Blueprint Creative Studios, our social impact is rooted in the belief that creativity is a vehicle for healing and spiritual freedom. We go beyond providing a service; we offer a ‘blueprint’ for individuals to walk in their God-given purpose.

On a local level, we serve the community through Blueprint Ministries, a heart-led initiative designed to remove the financial and social barriers that often keep artists from thriving. We are currently working toward establishing a physical studio in the Dallas Design District that will serve as a ‘safe space’ for transformation. It will be a community hub offering free mini-studio spaces for emerging artists, summer youth programs, fashion and prophetic art shows, and collaborative worship nights for creatives.

Our impact also extends far beyond Dallas. I am honored to serve as the Marketing Director for the BARN Global Network, an international creative collective based in Paris, France. Through this role, I contribute to global initiatives in fashion and creative strategy, helping to foster a global community where artists from all walks of life can connect and grow.

Whether I am working with a private collector on a prophetic painting, capturing an entrepreneur’s vision through photography, or directing global creative teams, the mission remains the same: to foster inner healing and ‘set the captives free.’ Through our ‘Reveal to Heal’ philosophy, we use visual storytelling to help people move past their scars and into their power.

What should our readers know about your business?
Blueprint Creative Studios is a reflection of my personal journey toward healing and a deep relationship with Christ. What truly sets us apart is that we provide a healing compass that goes beyond creating content or art. My business was born from my own seasons of grief and fear, where a pen and a paintbrush were the only tools I had to process my pain. I was essentially my own first client; I allowed ‘heart surgery’ to happen through my art, and in that process, I realized just how much creative expression can restore the soul.

I am most proud of how I get to help my clients birth their visions. Whether it’s through a prophetic painting or a strategic branding session, I love seeing an individual or a brand finally see their God-given purpose come to life. I’ve learned that when you walk in your purpose, that is where true healing begins.

Getting here was not easy, and it still isn’t. I always say that ‘God-sized dreams take God-sized faith.’ I’ve reached this point through a lot of prayer, the support of a healthy church community that invests in my personal growth, and the determination to keep moving forward even when faced with adversity.

The biggest lessons I’ve learned along the way are:

Consistency and Bravery: Dreams don’t just happen; you have to show up for them every day, even when you’re afraid.

Service is the Key: Your gifts are most powerful when they are used to serve others.

Adversity is a Teacher: Every setback has been an opportunity to lean deeper into my faith.

I want the world to know that Blueprint Creative Studios is more than a creative agency; it’s a space where art and ministry meet. Our story is one of restoration, and we are committed to sharing that same path of freedom with every person we serve.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were coming to town for a week, I’d want them to experience the two sides of Dallas that fuel me: the vibrant, high-energy creative hubs and the quiet, spiritual spaces where I go to recharge.

The Creative & City Vibe:

We would spend a lot of time exploring Downtown Dallas. I love the energy of the AT&T Discovery District; it’s perfect for ‘movies on the lawn’ or just catching a game on the massive outdoor screen. For a bit of culture, we’d wander through the Arts District and stop for a photo op by the Giant Eyeball.

For a more polished day out, we’re heading to Legacy West. It’s my go-to for great shopping and scenery. We’d grab a bite at Haywire for some Texas comfort food or explore the endless options at Legacy Hall, followed by a walk through the shops to see what’s inspiring current fashion and branding.

The Spiritual & Nature Recharge:

I believe nature is one of the greatest healers, so a trip to Prayer Mountain (Mountain Creek) is a non-negotiable. The hiking trails and the stunning views from the top provide such a beautiful, serene atmosphere to reflect and pray. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with God. We’d also spend an afternoon at White Rock Lake or the Dallas Arboretum to soak in the botanical beauty; there’s something about being surrounded by greenery that always sparks a new creative idea.

Entertainment & Fun:

To round out the week, we’d definitely catch some live sports. Whether it’s a high-energy football game or watching the Dallas Pulse professional volleyball team in action, I love the collective energy of a stadium. If there’s a rooftop movie playing at Sundown at Granada, that’s how we’d end the trip: good food, a classic film, and a view of the Dallas skyline under the stars.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Success is never a solo journey, and I would be remiss if I didn’t dedicate my shoutout to my business partner and the Creative Director for Blueprint, Bernardo Garcia.

When you are building a vision as multifaceted as Blueprint Creative Studios, you need someone who doesn’t just see the ‘now,’ but understands the ‘next.’ Bernardo has been that person for me. He has been instrumental in helping me brainstorm the foundation of Blueprint, consistently bringing fresh, creative ideas that have pushed me to create at a much higher level of excellence.

Beyond the creative strategy, he has invested his time, resources, and most importantly, his prayers into this vision. Having a partner who truly undergirds the spiritual and professional mission of the studio makes all the difference. He understands the ‘why’ behind the art and the heart behind the ministry. His unwavering support has been a cornerstone in my story, and I’m incredibly grateful to have him alongside me as we build this blueprint together.
