We had the good fortune of connecting with Destany Louvier and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Destany, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
Life always gives you challenges that will help build you into the person you’re destined to be. Every day we have the option to do something different or that same things. Life does not stop anyone, so why should you ? You need to know your limits as person and business wise. You have to plan for the future and learn from your past. Failure is okay, because you learn what not to do next tim. There will always be a next time to do better. Some times giving up is okay, because it just means you will do even better things. Learn who you are and what your business stands for. Take those and your limits and make sure you just always do you best.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I own a mobile bartending service. We provide all needs for cocktails, bar, staffing and self serving drinks. We also provide custom gift boxes for special events to make it even more special ! Owning a mobile bar comes with a lot of rules and regulations. We help you celebrate all the special moments in life, no matter how small. Life should be celebrated in a beautiful and fun way, and that’s exactly what we do. We are only 2 years in, and we’ve learned a lot about being better. That’s what life is, always something new to learn and outside prospectives to see.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take her a little bit of everywhere in Houston. I would start the day with some breakfast form snooze, check out some down town areas and some museums to see some art. We would end the night with some pool at Bogies West. Take a small day trip to Austin show the them the views of the 360 brings and the graffiti walls. We would try lots of restaurants, look at all the local artist around and definitely catch some movies at Studio Movie Grill. We would also walk the sea wall in Galveston and ride some rides in kehma.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My girlfriend, Secilia has been such a huge supporter in everything I do. She stands behind me 100% for all my business adventures.
