We had the good fortune of connecting with Edward Ayres and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Edward, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
One of the guiding tenets of my life, and a core operating principle of Inventor Process, Inc., is “We know we can have everything in life that we want, as long as we’ll help enough other people get what they want.”

This means so much to our staff and to me personally because it simply means by helping others, and putting the interest of others (aka our clients) above our own, not only do our clients benefit but we will too.

This is why the entire team at Inventor Process strives to provide industry-superior services, guidance, and consulting to the inventors who create the products that fuel the fires of the global economy.

What should our readers know about your business?
Inventor Process (www.InventorProcess.com) is a consulting firm that provides business development services, guidance and advice to independent inventors and entrepreneurs. We are a trusted resource for inventors searching for an experienced ally that can guide them through all the legal, deal-making, manufacturing, operational, and marketing challenges ahead.

Today, Inventor Process is home to a team of invention industry professionals with expertise in intellectual property, product design & development, research, manufacturing, marketing and negotiations.

Inventor Process has earned a singular reputation for its focused dedication to clients, customizing course of action plans specifically tailored to each product, attending tradeshows and honing the manufacturing, retail distribution, and marketing programs suited for each client’s product.

Providing product-specific service plans means more up-front work, but greater results. Client Charles Krumme tried several inventor agencies before joining Inventor Process. After a number of false starts with the other companies, Krumme found the success he richly deserved with Inventor Process, licensing his product to a major national brand.

A few additional product successes include the HSN-regular French Tip Dip, the recently-licensed Kicker door opening wedge, the Pizza Pro, Kool Breeze Solar Hats, Doggie Don’t Device, Twinkle Treat Basket, the Camileon Heels, the Laundranet, and the FLKR Lighter Sleeve.

Additionally, Inventor Process has launched www.InventorMade.com for retail-ready inventors to sell their products without listing fees, commissions or other hurdles.

Further, the Inventor Process team, in collaboration with leading industry experts and inventors, has launched Invention Mastery 101. This is an education program designed to equip and empower inventors with the skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed in the invention industry.

The spirit of innovation remains alive and well at Inventor Process!

Lastly, in life you regret the things you don’t do. If you have a good invention, an excellent business idea, or an opportunity for promotion then believe in yourself, take a risk, and let the “how” figure itself out.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
It’s Vegas baby! We have a lot to do.

I’d pick him and his wife up from the airport on Thursday evening. He’s smart and to avoid the airport crowds he doesn’t fly in on Friday night.

We’ll head straight to dinner, probably something light like Sushi at Osakas, and then we’ll crush the poker tables at the Bellagio. We have a long weekend ahead so we call it night fairly early…after winning big stacks.

Friday, we head to Pam’s Glorified Ham & Eggs for a great late breakfast, and then do some touristy stuff like check out the Mob Museum, the Container Park, and the Zip Line on Freemont Street. For dinner we’ll go to Texas de Brazil and eat more than anyone should before we head for drinks and the comedy club. Depending on how we’re feeling we may stop by the Red Rock casino for a little Texas Hold’em before calling it night.

Saturday we’ll head to the Orleans for the noon no-limit Texas Hold’em tournament. The plan is for me to win and him to come in second…LOL. We’ll wrap up the evening with a spectacular dinner at the Eiffel Tower restaurant and enjoy an amazing view of the Bellagio Fountains.

Sunday morning, we’ll head to church and then enjoy the rest of the day exploring Red Rock National Park before heading to my favorite dinner destination, Eddie’s Mexican Restaurant. They know me so they seat us right away. My buddy likes that…he’s impressed and so is his wife…I like that!

Monday we lounge around the house and really just reminisce about old times, and share stories about our families, our careers, our troubles and our successes. Our wives have gone shopping at Downtown Summerin and Fashion Show mall. That evening we’ll walk around the neighborhood, really just enjoying each others company.

Tuesday, I can’t be out of work the whole week, so he’ll go to the office with me as I catch up on phone calls, emails and anything that can’t wait. I’ll introduce him to the staff and show him some of the neat, new inventions that are headed to the marketplace.

Wednesday is another outdoor day. We’ll wake up early and head to Mt. Charleston for hiking, picnicking and enjoying the great outdoors. Then we’ll head home to get cleaned up before we hit an awesome buffet on the Vegas strip. How can you visit Vegas without at least one buffet. After dinner it is off to Chris Angel’s magic show.

Thursday mid-morning we’ll enjoy the tastiest pancakes in town at Baby Stacks in Summerlin. Then it’s back to the office for a little catch up before heading to Pole Position for indoor, electric go cart racing. It’s side-by-side, heart pounding, fender bender racing two inches off the ground. It’s fun and fast. Then we’ll head to the Orleans for the 7pm poker tournament.

Friday we’ll start to wrap up the trip by walking the Vegas strip, hitting Gold-N-Silver Pawn Shop, seeing many of the free attractions, enjoying the architecture, and catching a concert. Then we’ll do dinner at Sage in the Aria before enjoying beverages and dueling pianos.

Saturday morning, the slowest day at the Las Vegas airport, we’ll see my buddy and his wife off! And then rest the remainder of the day…we’re getting old and that visit tired us out.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First, I want to give my praise, respect and gratitude to God almighty. He provides me with strength, wisdom, perseverance and an eye for opportunity. Additionally, the majority of the inventors I have worked with over the last 23 years give credit to God for the inspiration behind their invention.

Next, I have to give a shoutout to my business partner and wife, Kristen. She is an inspiring and encouraging force with amazing organizational skills, determination and knowledge.

Further, my father was an entrepreneur who taught me the value of hard work, the importance of product knowledge, and how to sell.

Finally, Belgian horses can pull 8,000 pounds all by themselves. It’s impressive. What’s more impressive? When two horses pull a load together, they don’t just pull 16,000 pounds combined. The team can pull 22,000 pounds. When they train together and pull together, they can pull up to 32,000 pounds. So, I want to give a shoutout to the entire Inventor Process team!
