We had the good fortune of connecting with Estefany Cardozo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Estefany, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I used to be a model 8 years ago, it was very necessary to know how to do makeup for catwalks, photographs and other events, so I started self-taught. Then I practiced a lot and saw that I could offer that service to my friends, so I became a Makeup Artist.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have always tried to give my best in every way, I have trained myself so much, and I always try to look for new techniques and resolve doubts that come to me, I offer a wide service since I learned about photography and hairstyles. I offer a unique experience to the person who hires my services
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love sharing with friends and family! I would take him to see my favorite places in the city without a doubt, the views from the buildings in Post Houston, share some refreshing drinks watching the sunset, a boat ride to Galveston, take him to dinner at Gauchos do sul and watch a movie in roof top cinema
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family has been and will always be the driving force of my life, they have always supported me and I appreciate it so much! I arrived in the US 2 years ago and met my boyfriend and he has made me grow so much, I am a better professional thanks to him.
