Meet Felix Etugbo | Real Estate Agent

We had the good fortune of connecting with Felix Etugbo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Felix, how does your business help the community?
As a real estate agent, my work goes far beyond transactions, it’s about creating stability, opportunity, and a sense of belonging in the communities I serve.
I’ve seen firsthand how the right home can change someone’s life. Whether I’m helping a first-time home buyer find a safe place they can afford or guiding a family into a home they can grow into, I’m playing a role in something bigger than real estate. I’m helping people plant roots, build equity, and create environments where they can thrive physically, emotionally, and financially.
Coming from a background where I’ve had to navigate challenges and figure things out without a blueprint, I understand how overwhelming the housing process can feel. That’s why I approach every client with patience, transparency, and a genuine commitment to their best interest. For many people, especially those who haven’t had much guidance, having someone in their corner who truly cares can make all the difference.
On a community level, housing is foundational. When people feel secure in where they live, they show up differently in every other area of life; work, relationships, health, and personal growth. By helping people find the right place, I’m contributing to stronger neighborhoods, more connected communities, and long-term generational progress.
At the end of the day, real estate gives me the platform to serve. It allows me to combine business with impact, helping people move forward in life, one home at a time.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My career path hasn’t been a straight line and that’s exactly what sets me apart.
I started in the health and performance world, working as a strength and conditioning coach and later in the physical therapy realm. These experiences gave me a deep understanding of people, how they move, how they recover, and more importantly, how they respond to challenges. I was working closely with athletes and individuals pushing through adversity every day, and that perspective shaped how I approach everything now.
Transitioning into real estate wasn’t just about creating a career, it was about expanding my impact. I realized I wanted to help people not only physically improve their lives, but also elevate their lifestyle and financial position. Real estate gave me that platform.
It definitely wasn’t easy. Like many people starting out, I had to build everything from the ground up, my network, my credibility, and my client base. There were moments of uncertainty, times when deals didn’t go through, and periods where consistency was the biggest challenge. But I leaned into discipline, the same mindset I developed through athletics and training: show up every day, refine your craft, and stay committed even when results aren’t immediate.
What helped me overcome those challenges was understanding that this business is about people, not just properties. Once I focused on genuinely serving clients, educating them, advocating for them, and making the process stress-free, everything started to grow organically. Referrals increased, trust deepened, and my business became more than just transactions.
What I’m most proud of is the trust I’ve built. Many of my clients come to me not knowing where to start, and they leave feeling confident and taken care of. That transformation, seeing someone go from overwhelmed to empowered, is what drives me.
I’m especially excited about continuing to grow my brand in a way that blends real estate, community, and lifestyle. Through things like my run club and social platforms, I’m not just building a client base, I’m building a network of people who support each other, stay active, and strive for more.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that consistency beats talent, and authenticity always wins. People can tell when you genuinely care, and in a relationship-driven business like this, that matters more than anything.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is simple: I’m here to serve at a high level and create real impact. Whether it’s helping someone find their first apartment, secure their dream home, or simply feel more confident in their next step, I take that responsibility seriously.
My story is still being written, but it’s built on resilience, service, and a commitment to helping people move forward in life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Here’s how I’d map out the perfect week if my best friend was visiting Houston and making sure they experience the energy, culture, and lifestyle that make Houston special
Houston Itinerary (Days 1–4)
Houston is all about diversity, food, and hidden gems. I’d make sure they feel the culture immediately.
Day 1 – Arrival + City Vibes
We’d start in the heart of the city—check into a spot downtown or in Montrose, then ease into the trip.
• Brunch at The Breakfast Klub – a Houston staple, no shortcuts here.
• Walk through Buffalo Bayou Park for skyline views and a laid-back intro to the city.
• Dinner at Uchi Houston – elevated sushi, always a hit.
• Drinks at Clé Houston if we want a high-energy nightlife start.
Day 2 – Culture + Food Tour
• Morning at Houston Museum District – you can hit spots like the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston or The Menil Collection.
• Lunch in Montrose at Traveler’s Table – global flavors, fits the city perfectly.
• Chill time at Hermann Park or pedal boats for a vibe reset.
• Dinner at Taste of Texas – classic Texas experience.
• Late night at Sekai Night & Day or a more laid-back lounge depending on the mood.
Day 3 – Active + Social Houston
• Start the day with my community at Memorial Park – 3-mile run, great energy, real Houston culture.
• Post-run coffee at Blacksmith.
• Lunch at Turkey Leg Hut – can’t miss, very Houston.
• Afternoon shopping at The Galleria.
• Dinner at Kata Robata.
• End the night at Chapman & Kirby for a mix of lounge and nightlife.
Day 4 – Brunch
• Brunch at no other place other than Grooves
