We had the good fortune of connecting with Frank Zendejas and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Frank, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started therapy in 2015 following a breakup seeking help with some emotional barriers and non-serving reoccurring tendencies/habits. My treatment revealed that I suffered from shame trauma stemming from childhood events.
My learning, understanding, and healing journey revealed how prevalent non-serving beliefs, thoughts, and unresolved/neglected emotions impacted all aspects of my life. The deeper I understood this in myself, the more I learned and recognized how others are similarly impacted by their non-serving thoughts, beliefs, and neglected unresolved/emotions.
This realization led me to the decision that I must do something to help individuals:
– Discover the unresolved/neglected emotions as well as non-serving thoughts/beliefs. “You can’t recover what you don’t discover.”
– Recover themselves through purposeful and healthy mental and emotional approaches and skill development.
– Thrive in their lives through the experiences of self-selected/choice-based, not someone else’s, hopes, dreams, and desires.
My thought was, “I went through this and have experienced healing, gained skillsets, and can serve. Others are trapped by their non-serving beliefs/thought and unresolved/neglected emotions. I can help.”
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m a Certified High-Performance Coach, and I focus on guiding people to declare, “I’m Living Life and Thriving!” through the various coaching programs I offer. As a change agent, I am here to guide, support, and teach skills that will have lifetime returns — This is what I call “ROL,” the “return on life.”
What sets me apart is that I have invested over 6000 hours over the past 17 years in personal development. I’m a heart-centered individual that connects with my clients. I guide them to transform with the gifts that they already have.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The restaurant scene is plentiful and diverse in Houston. Memorial Park is a great place to visit for a run or walk.
Connecting with nature has been made easy with the excellent renovations at Houston Arboretum & Nature Center. You’ll completely forget you’re in the middle of the 4th largest city when you’re taking in the views and listening to nature.
For your Space fix, I would head to NASA. And, while you’re there, make your way to the Kemah boardwalk for some rides, food, and a pier scene.
Go further south to Galveston to enjoy some Gulf Coast seafood and a nice long walk along the seawall.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Dr. Yael Avivi Psychologist, PhD – For helping me heal. Brene’ Brown – For her amazing work on share and vulnerability. Her material served as the foundation for me diving deeper into my own life and giving me access to learning how to be an integrated man.
Tony Robbins – For his leadership and example of service hood.
Brendon Burchard – For your amazing coaching programs and guidance in my becoming a Certified High-Performance Coach.
The Grief Recovery Institute – For your program that gave me access to my own grief/loss recovery. And, ultimately, through my own recovery, inspiring me to progress to the level of Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist so as to guide others to their healing and reclaiming their hopes, dreams, and desires.
God – “If you knew who walked beside you on this journey you have chosen, you would never experience fear or doubt again.” Thank You!
