We had the good fortune of connecting with Genesis Amaris Kemp and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Genesis Amaris, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
Making sure I make early investments to set my daughter up for the future.

Creating tangible items that can stay within the family and leave a legacy. Like writing my book, Chocolate Drop in Corporate America: From The Pit to The Palace.

Then creating content for the podcast that she can listen to when she gets older.

Giving her my undivided attention and showing interest in what makes her happy.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am the Podcast Founder and Host of GEMS 💎 with Genesis Amaris Kemp. I started this podcast after my dad passed and it has definitely evolved from grief content to a well rounded convos.

What sets me and my show apart from others is my interview style, fun and witty songs and sound effects.

Content Creator piece came into play when I was a stay at home mom for some time and wanted to have fun and switch up my routines.

I got to where I am today by networking, changing my mindset, asking for help when needed, and moving past fear.

It was not easy but finding and sticking to my why helps me build the momentum and not quit. Then thinking about the lives I am touching adds fuel to my desires to serve others.

I want the world to know that I am multifaceted and multidimensional, not to be contained in a box, firecracker, and bubbly personality that wants to leave this world better than I found it. Definitely more to learn from me.
