We had the good fortune of connecting with George Zupp and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi George, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Thats a good question. When i was in highschool i treated art like it was private messages i was sending to myself or others via symbols, as time went on it grew to a worship of painting and studio life. The more people told me i would grow up and take life more seriously the more iwas determinded to prove them wrong. At this point its all i know to quit now would be a return to the jobsite. Art is a masosistic game people dont pursue it out of leisure very sucesfully.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My brand or story or idea or meaning is nothing more than enjoying the side conversations at a bar and realizing that nothing is by accident, as the whole world moves around ya , you start to notice things then try and capture them. What i have been proud of is my utube vids if anything can be said of my work i say it best in those vlogging art vids, they are fun to make id chickengeorge1236 utube. When art and videos get smeared together it saves me the time to explain it,.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
People visit me in Marathon tx i am building my studio there, there is a wacky air b&b next door , typically we would hand out at my place and drink, and i would smoke meat and cook out then we would walk to down town and drink some more.! Its fun to entertain folks
