We had the good fortune of connecting with Ginger Lundell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ginger, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most crucial factor contributing to our success lies in the foundation of our brand. Like actual brand, a cattle brand. A brand woven with love and history.
Our little white chapel isn’t merely a venue designed for profit; it embodies the love story of its original owners, Craig & Carol. Their commitment to each other became the cornerstone, resonating through time as we continue to share their narrative with each visiting couple.
The 7F brand itself, was established in 1886. Over 138 years, its significance has evolved, yet it remains a symbol of love, dedication, and the essence of family. Our Little White Chapel holds the distinction of being the first venue of its kind in College Station. This historical legacy has been instrumental in shaping our brand’s identity and enduring success.
What should our readers know about your business?
What truly distinguishes 7F Lodge from other venues in our area is not just the extensive duration of our service to the community, but our unwavering passion for continual improvement. The challenge lies in seamlessly integrating history dating back to over 25 years into a contemporary context, and we take pride in achieving this. Our commitment is for every couple or guest who steps onto our property to immerse themselves in diverse settings. From uniquely themed cabins with curated music and decor—spanning Mexico, Spain, France, Sugar Shack, and more—we offer an immersive experience that transcends time, making each visit a distinctive and memorable journey.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout extends beyond individuals, but to a collective group of several families over many years, shaping this heavenly spot on the outskirts of College Station, TX.
Initially a cattle ranch and haven for WWII vets, it transformed into Carol Frierson’s mission to redefine the family brand.
Craig & Carol passed the torch to close family friends, Phillip & Donna Garrett. Who were pivotal in expanding romantic stays and enhancing the chapel area for wedding gatherings.
In 2017, our family embraced this legacy, making changes to let couples share their love. It’s not about one person but a shared endeavor, uniting different families with a common goal: LOVE. Each chapter in this collective story deserves credit and recognition.
