We had the good fortune of connecting with Gos G and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gos, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
Being consistent help me prevail through hard tasks because when your constantly doing something to improve daily and or advancing your craft you are more likely to improve and get better at it.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I create music, I am a independent artist based in Dallas, Texas and I’m intrigued about what’s to come for my future in music and what it will take. At the age of 4 I started drumming then eventually I branched off into playing the piano which I taught my self how to do. Then I got more interested in learning how to play the guitar, so I watched my friend as he would play and ask him where to put my fingers and eventually I got better after some practice. As I was growing up I always would see my cousin freestyling and making music, but did not think too much about it till I saw my sister freestyling then my older brother. Being that my family is musically gifted, music has not been hard for me to gravitate towards there were not too many challenges. I’ve learned in the music industry that you can not depend on someone. You have to physically and mentally be invested in order to stay afloat. Furthermore, I know that my sound and story of how I got to where I am today will prevail and touch many others to push through and never give up.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Honestly, I would have to go swimming or go to the lake. Being that I’m from Texas we love going to the lake and doing a lot of outside activities. Fun for a week long? definitely would kick it at a water park depending on the weather due to the fact that Texas gets very hot during the summer time .

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I truly want to thank my close friend Zariah (halfzar) when I was first starting to get into to music in 2021 he helped me with my sound, shot music videos for me and even gave me some studio equipment. In 2018, we started making beats, but did not take it seriously. Furthermore, it caught our attention again at the beginning of 2021 and since then we have been striving for success. There was not too much support, but when it came from friends and family it meant a lot and has helped me. When I look back at the first time I created my first song and compare it to my music now it gets me emotional because I know the hardships I went through in order to prosper. I also can not forget to thank God for the things he has done in my life because without him I would not have been able to be where I’m at in life.
