Hi Gregory, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
Our decision to become more than just a ‘Home Inspection Company’ was critical to our success. At Legendary Inspection Group we are able to offer our customers a WDI (Wood Destroying Insects) Inspection or Termite Inspection, Pool Inspection, Thermal and Moisture Inspections, New Construction Inspections (all phases of the construction process), Pre-Listing Inspections, Pre Warranty Expiration Inspections, Single System Inspections, and more. We look forward to continuing to expand our brand.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Sure, let’s start from the beginning. Starting a business is often a life-altering decision. It can affect you in so many ways beyond just financially. You question yourself. People you know question you. But, in the end, it’s all about taking a risk and believing in yourself and those standing by your side there with you that you can do it. It’s a leap of faith. Most people prefer to do business with someone they know, or know of which can make being a new business owner difficult. One of the things that sets us apart is I quickly learned networking in business is one of the best resources. A good network can provide endless opportunities for your business and I am so grateful for the Realtors, Home Builders, Loan Officers, Mortgage Companies and more that choose to do business with Legendary.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Beaumont is smaller and doesn’t have an abundance of huge tourist attractions, and I am OK with that. Beaumont has developed over the years and there a several places to visit for entertainment. Recently the city has gained their very own 5 Under Golf Center. It’s a lot of fun, the food is good, and they provide a couple of indoor golf simulators for small intimate groups. There are a lot of chain restaurants in Beaumont to eat from but I really enjoy the “mom-and-pop” restaurants. It’s my way of supporting the local small businesses and the food touches your soul. One great item to eat here in Southeast TX is crawfish. With Louisiana neighboring the city, crawfish comes easy. You can get crawfish at just about any small business but for me, I enjoy buying a couple of 30lb sacks of live crawfish, invite some friends and family over, and have a crawfish boil. Several other places to visit for entertainment are the movies, Painting with a Twist, Urban Air, bowling alleys, parks, museums, and boat rides at the Neches River.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
As most entrepreneurs just getting started we face a ton of obstacles and opposition. My wife Amber Clark, M.Ed. of 9 years provides me that unwavering support and I love her for it. She helps me balance work and play, and always keep a sense of perspective even amidst the stress and responsibility of starting and maintaining a successful business. My mentors in life and in business include my parent’s Terrell & Chantail Green, owners of Reliable Labor Texas and my uncle Cornell Price, Founder and Manager of CMP3 Enterprises & Price Homes. These individuals constantly pour into me things they have learned along the way on how to be a successful entrepreneur.
